Strengthening Endpoint Security Across a Hybrid Workforce

Identifying the Gaps in a Distributed Environment

As remote work became the new normal, one of our Sydney-based engineering clients faced growing cybersecurity challenges. Their teams operated across multiple offices, home networks, and mobile devices — creating gaps in visibility and increasing exposure to phishing attacks, data leaks, and endpoint vulnerabilities.

Recognising the urgency, PartyCloud IT conducted a full security assessment to map vulnerabilities across endpoints, servers, and cloud systems. This baseline allowed us to prioritise immediate risks while designing a scalable security roadmap that would protect the organisation as it grew.

“Centralised protection gave us complete visibility of every device — on-site, remote, or mobile. It’s reassuring to know our systems are secure and our people are protected.”

Implementing Unified Endpoint and Network Protection

We deployed a comprehensive Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution powered by Microsoft Defender and Fortinet’s advanced threat protection suite. This unified setup gave administrators real-time visibility into all devices, while automated patching, monitoring, and alerting through Microsoft Intune and Sentinel streamlined response workflows.

Within three months, security incidents dropped by 68%, and the organisation’s overall Secure Score rose from 42% to 86%.

Implementing Unified Endpoint and Network Protection

Throughout the engagement, our goal was to strike a balance between strong protection and user productivity. By integrating proactive monitoring with employee empowerment, the client achieved a stable, compliant, and resilient IT environment that scales confidently with their hybrid workforce.
